Helen
-
“At 54, I had always been unhappy with my shape, despite having always been a member of a gym. I decided to give my body one last chance by choosing a personal trainer. Within 3 months of sessions with Rachel I had changed shape - 5 inches off my waist, toned all over and 7kg lost! My shape now is better than ever - no bingo wings, firm thighs and flat tummy. I can't thank Rachel enough for her skills and for motivating me to persevere long enough to see results. 8 months on I've gone from a size 14 to a 10, all thanks to Rachel's advice and encouragement”.
Dorothy
-
“After months of sleepless nights with severe shoulder pain I had treatment with Caroline and it’s sorted. No problems ever since, brilliant!”.
Sue Williams, Wrexham
-
“I went to Caroline with the objective of returning to competitive football following a double leg fracture. Through her excellent treatment and knowledge of how to exercise and treat the injury I was able to return earlier than planned. I would certainly always go back to Caroline whenever I need treatment and would highly recommend to anyone as a highly qualified professional physio”.
Mr A Johnson, Chester
-
“I would recommend this class to anyone. It has the perfect balance of meditation and physical endurance. Seema guides you every step of the way and with each class you are stronger and able to work harder than the last. I can certainly feel the difference in my body and mind after a session and throughout the year was able to take that calming sensation home as well. It is truly incredible how something so soothing as yoga practice can tone and strengthen your body, especially in places most other forms of exercise neglect”.
Katia, Chester
-
“I’ve lost the weight I’d been trying unsuccessfully to lose on my own. I’m more thoughtful about what I’m eating and am motivated to carry on exercising on my own”.

Step 5: Determine How To Fit More Exercise Into Your
Day. Are you a person who has a hard time fitting exercise
in? Or do you dread going to the gym and sweating?
Increasing physical activity may be the BEST option for
losing weight and improving overall health
Exercise may improve cholesterol levels, increase good
hormones flowing throughout your brain & body, and you
will burn extra calories. Now is the time to figure out what
might be the best exercise for you, and go for it. Is it
running with a friend, going to an exercise class, taking up a
new sport or martial art, or asking a personal trainer to help
you plan & stay motivated? Remember: You need to develop
the RIGHT plan for you. When there is a will, there is a way!
Step 6: Re-
progress. And this MUST be built into your plan. This is
where you take a good look at your goals, your success so
far, and then determine where you need to change. If it’s
working and you are happy, then just keep going. If you are
bored and not feeling challenged, then mix it up and make it
more challenging.
Set Yourself Up For Success Developing a successful plan
for yourself may lead you down the road to better health and
wellness. Your plan should have short-
and with every milestone, a reward for accomplishing your
goal. You may also need to change a few things. Adding
exercise and paying really close attention to what you eat
may help you accomplish your weight loss goals. Possibly
in a shorter time! Whatever your goals are, you need to
RE-
want or what you desire. If they aren’t, make the necessary
adjustments to keep you on the path to better health, wellness
& weight loss.
At Verve Health & Fitness we want you to succeed! We are
unique in offering one to one personal training in a private
studio, instead of a busy, hectic gym. Our goal is to make
sure there are no barriers in your way and our team supports
you with nutrition & exercise plans, hypnotherapy, amatsu
massage, acupuncture and physiotherapy.
“a fantastic trainer…. I actually look forward to exercise which
I would never have believed 4 months ago!”

“I’ve lost the weight I’d been trying unsuccessfully to lose on my own. I’m more thoughtful about what I’m eating and am motivated to carry on exercising on my own.”
Step 1: Where Do You See Your Weight/Health In The Coming Year? Have you started out every year the same? You eat healthily, go to the gym regularly, and exercise
for about three weeks, then you quit. You stop seeing results and you say I can’t do this! The first step to achieving success is to sit down and clarify what you want for next year. Do you want to drop a dress size? Do you want to fit into your skinny jeans again? Do you want to stave off ill health & ageing or run a half marathon? Whateverthe goal, step one is to write it down.
Step 2: Develop A Path To Your Goal. Everyone needs a
path or a plan. A way to go from point A to point B! What is
your path? The goals should be small, and you should haveno trouble accomplishing them. With each goal you
accomplish, it will build your self-
Instead of your goal being a huge mountain to climb, you
break it down into manageable steps that will make it easierto reach the TOP.
Step 3: Determine Where You Need To Make Changes.
This one can apply to almost any area in your life. It could
be financial, personal or business, and your health. You
should look at your diet and determine where you can
make changes. Do you always eat biscuits with your
coffee? Is there a better option? So here is how to make
the change! Keep track of everything you eat in a food
diary. Keep track of it for a few days, a week, or even
A month. Write down everything! Anything you
eat, drink,or any supplements you take should
be entered into yourdiary. It may even
surprise you!
Step 4: Now That You Have A Food Diary, The Next
Step is To Fix Your Problem-
you need to determine where changes are
needed. You found you overeat: Find ways to
spread your calorie intake throughout your day.
You’re lacking in fruit & veg: find a way to add theminto your meals. Whatever your problem areas are, now is the RIGHT time to develop a plan to fix them.
Do you want to feel like you again? Have more energy and more lust for life after
the excesses of Christmas and New Year? Now’s the time to make a list! Lists keep
you organised, on track, and are a great way to measure success. And with last year
come to an end and a new one beginning, what can you do to make your health and wellness
a top priority? Start a new list. One which will hold you accountable for all of
your health, weight, andwellness goals! So here is a good way to get started - get
ready to plan your new year and a NEW YOU.
